Harry Potter is Dead???

More and more number of people coming out everyday who claim to know the fate of Harry potter. Does this influence the reading of millions of people who spend few hours of their lives just reading a book that is around 600 to 700 pages? Is it the ending of a story that we read a book?

The answer is simple, all of us share the same fate in life - Death, we know it is inevitable (at least for this generation unless some Frankenstein finds a way to live forever) but that doesn't stop us from living. We fail to understand that destiny is not important in life but the journey and the experience we live through out. We don’t just sit at home and wait for death, we do so many other things and we want to do so many things. I don't find it much of a difference with a book, A person who is reading Harry potter from its very first page of its very first book wont just give up on the final release just because he knows the fate or the ending of the story. I am not a fan of novels, I don’t read books, and I don’t have such patience. I keep teasing people that it’s a waste of time to spend so much time on a book and I would rather wait for a best seller to be converted to a movie. The fact is that I envy people who read books, novels etc. Reading a book is about patience and passion that I don’t have. When you are reading a novel you are not just reading a book but you are living with the characters line-by-line, page-by-page and you imagine and visualize every detail mentioned. No wonder, people who read novels don't like the silver screen version of the same story. Just because some one revealed the ending to a story it is not going to stop people from reading a book. It is living with the characters that are more important for readers than to reach the last page of the book. Not to forget we do work towards reading the last page but we no one wants to miss out on anything in between. Once a friend of mine who called me late in the evening was so much involved in the book that she started thinking that she was Hermione and I am some character from the book. It’s an extreme but it’s true, that is how people live the characters when they are reading a book. Now people who are confused out there just go pick up that book, read it, live it and tell me how it was and probably save me time and tell me story as well so that I don’t have to read it or wait till the movie is released. Till then; happy Potter.

Alexander the great

Alexander, the great
He won each war, every battle
the word defeat did not exist-
the world at his feet to be crushed at will
Drunk on victories unbeaten, unvanquished
He was the greatest till, one day
He came face to face with death
Death just smiled and said, "Checkmate"

I want everyone to help me rememeber the exact words of the poem. But any how Alexander, the man who is known to have conquered almost 1/4th of the world has been refered to as the greatest by some and as a beast by others. He has been a mythological charecter in the greek world but his name is speculated to be mentioned in quran, bible and in lot of other religious books. I lost a very valueble book  and the poem was written in it. I dont rememeber the exact words any more. So.....

A few good quotes

"Acquire knowledge, it enables its professor to distinguish right from wrong; it lights the way to heaven. It is our friend in the
desert, our company in solitude and companion when friendless. It guides us to happiness, it sustains us in misery, it is an ornament amongst friends and an armor against enemies." Prophet Mohammed

"My only love sprung from my only hate!
Too early seen unknown, and known too late!" -- shakespeare
In this early scene from Romeo and Juliet, Juliet echoes the theme of the play, which is how two tragically fated lovers from feuding families meet the challenge of their destiny. Romeo Montague has crashed a party held by his family's enemy, the Capulets. He sees Juliet Capulet and falls in love with her at first sight. She falls in love with him, as well. Neither of them know at that moment that they belong to their respective family's sworn enemy, and when they do discover this fact, it is too late, as they are already in love.

"Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer. Go some distance away because then the work appears smaller and more of it can be taken in at a glance and a lack of harmony and proportion is more readily seen."
Leonardo da Vinci
