9月29日 Scary StarsI wasn’t around for sometime as I was busy working and I had to work 3 consecutive Saturdays for Saber.
Long time ago, So long that I was in 5th grade in a boarding school just about 10 km from the town I was brought up. We used to have study hours during the night times to do some studies and all the students mandated to attend these hours. It used to be an open ground with few lights attached to poles here and there, bright enough for all of us to read from the books. Since this school was away from the town and a little isolated we used to have a lot of snakes around and if anyone remembers India is famous for cobras. One evening, Lights went off. There was no power anywhere in any of the nearby towns as well. Since we didn’t know the problem we were made to sit quite and everyone was hoping for the power to come back. As I recall when the lights went off I saw the most spectacular view of the sky ever till date. The picture is so etched in my mind not because I found it spectacular but because I was scared. I never saw so many stars in the sky before. I didn’t find an inch in the sky where there was no star. The sky was bight with all the stars and I felt like something is happening. It was astonishing and not to forget the fear of snakes. We were always told there are infinite numbers of stars in the sky but that day I saw a few of those infinite stars. I hated the time I spent on that ground sitting waiting for the power to come back as I was scared but today when I think of that with pitiable knowledge of stars, I can single that moment out as the most incredible sight I ever had of anything ever. In fact I didn’t realize it till few days back when I was doing a little reading on the theory of Unification by Einstein. May be I can never see that view again without the help of technology. My understanding on gravity, time, electro magnetism, strong and weak forces is miniscule but it gets so much more interesting with string theory. I cannot wait for the large hadron collider (LHC) to go on by May 2008. What is LHC? Check this out.
9月15日 Letter from EDSI received this letter today from EDS. Though I work for Saber this is something different. 9月10日 Shoot Em UpIt is so very evident how violence and sex go together well
in the movie “Shoot Em Up”. People are shot, they die and more people are shot
and they die. But the hero (Clive owen) of the movie never dies. He just goes on
a killing rampage and all he knows is how to kill. The villain a sadist, he doesn’t
care how many of his guys are killed. All he cares is that he wants the hero
dead. Guess what more people are killed. Monica Bellucci looks so stunning and
so hot that you just want her on every frame of the movie. Especially the scene
where she is on the bed with the hero and some people try to kill them and the
hero manages to kill all the guys and give her an orgasm at the same time.
Guess what? more people are killed. I give a 5/5 for execution and Monica Bellucci.
I have no Idea why I love so many women. Drew, Bellucci, Keira, Phenelope, Salma
and the list goes on. 9月1日 Missed ConnectionsIts been long enough. Its work that kept me busy and during the evenings I really got lazy to do anything but to watch movies and to be over the phone.
I was on the craigs list website, salem, looking for some shared apartments. I found a link called ‘Missed Connections’. A place where you can go and post about people who you see somewhere and want to get your messsage across. An example is ”I see you almost every day. You are a flagger on turner rd. where I-5 passes over (on the side closest to the airport). You're smile melts me. I would really like to meet you, so if you read this or if anyone out there knows who I am talking about please email me.” A way to tell people that I felt a connetion and we missed it. If you find this message then call me or get in touch with me. people call it 'throwing a with a message in the ocean of web", go to a beach and lock a meesage in a bottle and throw it in the water and hope that one day the message reaches the person. Time for my missed connection, "The girl at Mc Donalds, You are cute, attractive and very nice to me. you also gave me a free side of fries. I hope you read this and leave me a surprise comment." and thats the way the cookie crumbles.
